Totally Games are the creators behind the highly appreciated X-Wing series. In 2002, they made the connection to the famous Star Trek series. The Sci-Fi world and conventions were utterly changed once the Star Trek universe caught shape. U.S.S. Enterprise became the ultimate ship in the eyes of every science-fiction fan. Generation after generation, we all watched the bold adventures of the ship's crew and even day dream of all the future technology that it held. Star Trek: Bridge Commander is the first space simulation set in the Next Generation universe that truly puts you in command of your own Starfleet starship and crew.

While on duty in a remote area of space (Maelstrom), a nearby sun suddenly erupts releasing a deadly blast that damages your ship, kills your Captain and threatens nearby colonists. Now you must take control of your ship and lead your crew to solve the mystery. Your mission is clear - discover the cause of the devastating explosion and prevent it from happening again. During the race, you will battle the Cardassians, ally with the Klingons, investigate the unpredictable Romulans and reveal a secret plot that threatens the Federation itself. The excitement and the challenges grow as you and your crew race to find the cause through over 30 different missions. These will include many of Star Trek's most fundamental elements - defense, combat, diplomacy, exploration, rescue, and scientific discovery. For the first time, you will be able to command both Galaxy and Sovereign class ships much like the U.S.S. Enterprise-D and U.S.S. Enterprise-E.

Although occasionally, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Commander Data assist you in your investigations, no one can deny the help of a bunch of cheat codes especially when you're facing a rogue Cardassian faction that threatens the Alpha Quadrant races with an unknown weapon. The cheat codes are only available in Quick Battle mode. To activate them, you need to create a shortcut to the game's exe and by opening up its properties, you need to add the parameter -TestMode at the end of the target string (outside the quotations). Now, every time you run the game using this shortcut, your Quick Battle mode is replaced by Test Only. Here you can go to any level in the game and in the tactical display mode you can enter any of the following codes.

CTRL SHIFT G - God Mode for select vessel

CTRL SHIFT K - Damage targeted system

CTRL SHIFT Q - Add ten quantum torpedoes

CTRL SHIFT R - Repair targeted vessel
