Not to say that Star Jones left 'The View' and is now all humble and upset over it, the once famous television talk show host (co-host, to be more precise) says that she worked her butt off to earn the very reputation that led to her axing from ABC.
Star was fired by Barbara Walters from 'The View' after her persistent comments about her lavish wedding to Al Reynolds angered enough viewers as to lower the ratings. However, despite the fact that she is now aware exactly what she did wrong, Star says she worked hard to have a diva reputation. But she did learn her lesson now and she is trying to play it down, in the attitude compartment, of course.
'I admit sometimes I have enjoyed that celebrity more than I should have. It was well-earned, but it's softened now.', Jones confessed during a recent interview with 'Extra'. Even more, she is planning to open up a new chapter in her life, where the focus will go more on her family and personal life. Plus, a new job as guest host of 'The Michael Eric Dyson Show' on Radio On.
'This is a new chapter, a new beginning. . . . Absolute new Star. [A] very happy, healthy Star whose connection is through her family, through her community and completely in touch with what matters in life.', she explained.
She may still be a diva but at least she doesn't hold a grudge on her former friends from 'The View'. According to her own words, she moved on from the whole scandal and still keeps in touch with Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
