Mobile game developer Awem has just announced the immediate availability of “Star Defender 3” title for the Android platform.

Well known in the industry for its popular titles, such as Cradle of Rome 1-2, Golden Trails: The New Western Rush, Golden Trails: The Lost Legacy, Letters from Nowhere 1-2, The Island: Castaway 1-2, and other casual games, Awem launches its first Android port.

Although “Star Defender 3” is just a port of the original game available for PC, the developers managed to localize it into 6 languages (English, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese) even from its launch.

The game offers players 8 challenging missions with more than 100 levels and a progressive system of bonuses and power-ups.

Players will be able to take advantage of a wide range of weapons, including, missiles, mines, lasers, nuclear bombs, piranha, parasitron, insulator, infector, ball lightning and homing lasers.

The gameplay is pretty simple as players can control their ships with only one finger, thus allowing them to see the whole screen. Awem promises to bring the same unique and addictive gameplay of the PC game on the Android platform.

Other features offered by Awem’s “Star Defender 3” include:

- a wide array of alien spacecrafts with their own unique weapons;
- 8 large missions with a huge Boss at the end of each;
- Bonus System, including Time-Freeze, Missile Strike, and Immortality.

“Star Defender 3” is now available for download via Google Play for $0.99 and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3.7 and up.

We are happy to share our space shooter Star Defender 3 with our fans worldwide. It is our second adaptation for the Android platform and we are going to continue adjusting our games to the Android touch. Star Defender 4 will be introduced later this year,” said Oleg Rogovenko, Awem's CEO.
