Roberts Space Industries, the developer working on Star Citizen, is giving fans of the game a look at the hardware they will need to have in order to be able to run the space simulation title without any problems.

The system requirements for Star Citizen include a dual-core processor powered PC with at least an Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card and at least 4 GB of RAM for the system.

Those players who are looking to run the game with full details will need to run an i7 2500, 2600, 2700 or better processor with a GTX 670 card and the same amount of system memory.

As development proceeds on the game, these might change, but players can get a good idea of whether they need an upgrade in order to enjoy the space sim.

Star Citizen will be launched in early 2014.

Just wanna highlight a typo: "i7 2500, 2600, 2700" should be "i5 2500, i7 2600, i7 2700". Cheers!
