Natasha, who became known a while ago with her debut album 'Unwritten', often gave way to comparisons between her and controversial Pink. Now, she will finally have the chance to prove people they have been in the wrong, as she will soon start recording for the sixth film from the 'Rocky' series.
Bedingfield was completely shocked when, at a party in Los Angeles, she was approached by the veteran movie legend Sylvester Stallone and personally asked if she would do him the honor of recording the movie track for 'Rocky Balboa'.
Allegedly, the singer couldn't believe her years when she heard the offer and found it very hard to understand how Sly could have heard of her. But Stallone told her that he had heard her album and loved it and, at the end of the discussion, he even asked her to have her photo taken with him.
After that brief encounter, when they both agreed that she would play the 'Still Here' track, a record contract was signed in just a matter of days. The song, written by Diane Warren, is to feature in the film over the flashback scenes.
'Rocky Balboa' is to be released later this year.
