Stalker Tries to Force His Way in Jamie Foxx’s Hotel Room

One of the biggest pet peeves of celebrities is, according to their own words, ever having to be confronted with a stalker. The idea of having their privacy invaded is simply terrifying, countless stars have told the media. Actor Jamie Foxx got to live – and face – his fears just recently, when an unknown man tried to force his way into his hotel room, as TMZ reports.

It all went down on March 22 at the AKA Hotel in Philadelphia, as Foxx was in the room and the alleged stalker tried to force the door to gain admittance. Apparently, the unknown man told the actor that he was Beyonce’s producer, which made Foxx slightly open the door to see what he had to say.

The man then started pushing to get in, as the actor was on the other side of the door, struggling to push the perp out. Eventually, he managed to do so and he contacted the police to file a formal complaint against the man who had disappeared in the meantime.

“We’re told Jamie realized something was wrong as soon as he opened the door, but the suspect quickly tried to push his way inside. Fortunately, Jamie overpowered him and slammed the door in his face. Law enforcement sources say the man, later identified as Willie Brown, then fled from the scene. But Tuesday – 9 days after the alleged incident – Jamie’s private security spotted Brown just a few blocks away from the hotel and contacted police. Brown was arrested for burglary, criminal threats, stalking, false imprisonment and harassment.” TMZ informs.

Jamie Foxx is, of course, not the only celebrity, or actor for that matter, to have to deal with a stalker. Just recently, British heartthrob Robert Pattinson also admitted to have had one such die-hard (and potentially dangerous) fan. Nevertheless, his situation was less physical and, from his own words, a bit more pleasant as well, since at least he got to have a decent dinner with the woman in question and, at the same time, make sure she would not be coming back into his life.

“I had a stalker while filming a movie in Spain last year. She stood outside my apartment every day for weeks – all day, every day. I was so bored and lonely that I went out and had dinner with [her]. I just complained about everything in my life and she never came back.” Pattinson told the media a while back about his close-up encounter (literally) with a stalker.
