The author of Michael Jackson's biography "Michael Jackson: The Man Behind The Mask", Stacy Brown, predicts that Michael will not be alive in 10 years. Brown says the mega-star singer will "crash and burn" within the next decade.

She writes: "I don't think Michael Jackson will be alive in 10 years time.

It's amazing to me that what happened to Elvis hasn't happened to him. He lives on the edge. He's bound to crash and burn. He's 87 pounds and six foot tall - that's unhealthy.

I don't think he has it in him to take his own life. I don't see him putting a gun to his head. It'll be an accidental overdose - something like that.

It's the most tragic story in pop music history - and he's not dead yet."

A few days ago, Stacy declared that a black jury would have sent Michael in prison. Stacy believes the superstar is not so popular among African-Americans, because of the way he has snubbed his own kind - and only turned to them when he needed their support.

A black jury would have sent him in prison because he snubbed them?? what is stacy on? MICHAEL WAS THE ONE WHO STOOD UP FOR BLACKS! Anyway 'Black people' would not have sent him to jail, even if they *thought* he snubbed them, because it was michael's life on the line and the actual trial was based on the fact of if michael molested the boy not snubbing Africans, so why would they make him guilty?
Anyway, is stacy Michael Jackson? No. Is michael jackson elvis presley? No. So why even dare compare him to Elvis? After all Michael has been through i think he will not "crash and burn" in the next 10 years!
Stacy does not even have the right to say anything about Michael Jackson. Leave Michael Jackson alone- he was found not guilty, get over it. People who call Michael Jackson wacko are wacko. It's Michael who should be calling people like Stacy a wacko, not people calling Michael a wacko. What was Stacy on when he said this?

Michael Jackson is an incredibly strong person.

With all of the bullcrap that he's ALREADY BEEN THROUGH, he would have already "crashed and burned" by now. Michael has 40 years on his belt in this brutal entertainment industry. ...Hasn't "crashed and burned", at all. He's kept his strength and composure...his family, friends and fans have all supported him through this. He has his mother's quiet strength and his father's determination and stubborness.

Britney spears has what...ten years in this industry? And already she's crashed and burned. Not happening to Michael.

When will people understand that no matter how hard they try to ruin Michael, it won't happen?

And about him being thin...he's ALWAYS BEEN SKINNY AND LANKY AS H*LL.

Unfortunately, there are still people like this 'Stacy' person who feel they are Miss Cleo. June 25, 2009 will go down in history because a legend went to see his Maker. His Maker is the only person he will have to answer to. In Michael's defense, he will no longer have to listen to people like 'Stacy'. He is now at peace and can look down and see he is love by most. It is the small people who wished they could have lived his life who should think before they speak.

He/She hit the nail right on the head. At the same time, that was just seeing the writing on the wall. Still, I thought Amy Winehouse would go first.

Sad to see him go, he was a good guy. This is despite what the demons - those who accused him of molestation, and other crap. I felt sad for him, he always look so sad, deeply sad. One can feel sad for someone that has has such a successful career, with wealth and all. He was very much a star. Sure, even I felt he was a bit out there, and laughed when I heard Wacko Jacko come up.

He bridged so many racial barriers to this white kid from Spokane. I grew up with the Jacksons, Earth Wind and Fire, The Commodores, The Ojays, even Cool and the Gang. But no group or person, even my favorite groups like the Beatles and Led Zepplin, have never had as profound an influence on this kid. Not even John Lennon.

I remember that cute kid, that handsome man I thought was such a cool guy, and even neater, how generous he was. how he cared for children. I feel this personally because, yes, my own brother age 52 died in March. He was self medicating, and my feelings for my brother - not famous - very much parallel those for MJ. I can only imagine how his own family must feel.

I don't have the same feelings that his really rabid fans have. I didn't collect everything he made. As a matter of fact only 'Off the Wall and Thriller. I did like some of the other music he produced especially his more rocking tunes, "State of Shock, "Dirty Diana". I loved "Man in The Mirror" because it reminded me of the Beatles "Revolution".

I hated "Ebony and Ivory" not because of its ideal about race relations, but because it was an awful sound and simplistic as hell. That is mostly criticism of Paul McCartney than for Jackson. I really loved "Black and White" a much better tune.

While I think he hurt his friend Paul McCartney over the Beatles rights and it rubbed me as something wrong, I still got over it. Just business.

I can't stop thinking of the talent he was and hope he is always remembered as at least that. But more importantly for his generosity, his kindness. His last years I saw so much pain, especially that BS trial. I always wished he would just turn things around.

God bless him and keep him. You will be missed MJ.

Ebony and Ivory was not Michael Jackson and Paul Mccartney. It was Stevie Wonder and Paul Mccartney. Michael did The girl is mine with Paul Mcartney.

Comment #20 by: Luciana on 03 Jul 2009, 01:26 GMT reply to this comment

Mike and Paul also recorded Ebony and Ivory...
I already miss what would have been his come back... And yes, he was gentle, kind... A REAL KING!!!

Love you Mike! RIP

Will this person ever shut up? That stupid book is being promoted again.

It's badly written and incoherent in places. And this remark Stacy made is bang out of order.

""I did not like him at all. I mean, like I said, I was a huge fan and thought that meeting him I would just love the guy. There were times that I felt bad for him. But once I started to know him and know about him, I was totally turned off. I certainly started to believe, based on everything that I had been exposed to and based on everything that I could put together, that he certainly was not a good person. He didn’t have the heart that everyone said he had. He had a dark heart. It was always a motivation for everything he did, everything was calculated. Even something as simple as picking a fruit off a tree, there’s a reason why he’s doing that, not because he wanted a piece of fruit. Everything was calculating about him."

Michael is immortal. He is the most amazing person that ever lived. We will all see him again some day, and ALOT of 'us' have plenty of apologizing to do. I've found that it is very easy to get a quick opinion on a person, their morals, and their compasion for humanity when you get their opinion on Michael Jackson. Basically anyone who says he is a scum bag, is a scum bag. Any creepy old dude that says MJ's a petophile, we'll its more than likely a guilty conscience. But we fans know that dont we. Sad to say, i have the same name as this douche, but im a chick, and i love Michael Jackson!!! Im so afraid to cry, ive been holding back tears constantly. If i cry, Im afraid i wont stop. His beautiful face, smile, laugh, words, & music will live on in my heart forever.

I have always loved you Michael Jackson,

Exactly, you just need to listen to the man's lyrics and the emotion with which he sings his music- they way he performs with his heart and soul to know that he is not a success by being calculating but because he is REAL. What other people say like the media doesn't say a thing - what does SPEAK to my heart about Michael Jackson is his music. And that will live with us forever and ever. This is why we are so grateful for having this angel with us on Earth while we were alive too. What a blessing. Thanks to Jesus and to God for him. We love you Michael. RIP

So tragic that this person was right. That said I believe this stacey person is very ugly, to say such horrible things about a fellow human being. Michael a wonderful, one of a kind man. To genuinely have that childlike spirit. As a human being michael was the kind of person you couldn't help but love 2 be around. Michael said himself the moment he started breaking the all time records of people like Elvis and The Beatles they called him weird and a freak overnight not to mention a homosexual and a child molester, Michael was NONE of those things, he was COMPLETELY INNOCENT and found by a court of law to be so. I have to say those that believe was guilty I know FOR SURE did not read any of the actual evidence from the court transcripts as it is clear when you read this there was no EVIDENCE at all to link Michael to the crimes he was being accused of commiting, actually if anything the evidence further proved Michael's innocence. Those who believe Michael to be guilty were definetly only listening to what the media told everyone, and I have to say I'm not surprised as the media thrive to build people like Michael so they are God like only 2 pull them down. Michael's by far the most FAMOUS person on earth, therefore the no.1 target.

Michael I will continue 2 fight your corner I only pray they leave you only now, but doesn't look that way. My thoughts are with katherine the children and the entire family

Love you Applehead :)

Stacy Brown appears to have an ax to grind with the Jackson',especially Michael. I have watched every interview that he has done since Michael died and he has a lot of negative tone in his voice, I went on line and read where Michael fired his co-writer Bob Jones and now I understand his vemon...not accept it. He should be ashame to still be running Michael and his family down, not only since Michael death-but always. Africian Americans are so quick and easy to speak out against each other.None of these people who have worked for Michael or are saying they loved him and they were his friend really cared about him. they only saw him as money. And these so called religious advisors and these lawerys all taught Michael the ropes,if he did ever manipulate any one. also as to the Jacksons being so dysfunctional and living in some strange world, most families are dysfunctional and the people who managed Michael and his sibs careers right from the start, had them lying to the public and their fans. they were not allowed to be real people. They had to always be on stage.Stacy Brown and Bob Jones are poor excuses for Africian American men. If Bob Jones was telling the truth about Michael and little boys(which I do not beleive) he should have trusted in GOD and reported Michael into the police. This is what a moral person would have done. _not wait until you have been fired_ and not write a tell-all book.

If Stacy Brown thinks Michael Jackson is six feet tall, that's proof that Stacy Brown knows nothing about Michael Jackson. They say he's 5 foot 10 inches for publicity, but that's only with his boots on, which have about a 2 and a half to 3 inch heel. He's really about 5 foot 7 and a half inches tall. Check out the In The Closet video, where he dances with Naomi Campbell, who's 5 foot 9 and a half inches tall. She's barefoot and he's wearing a boot with a 2 inch heel, so they're the same size. Check out photos of MJ standing next to other celebrities in photos where you can see their feet, and if you know the heights of the other celebs in the photos, you can figure out MJ's height. I'm sure MJ had a really good reason to fire Bob Jones and should have done it years earlier. Even I can see what a lousy job he did counteracting all the damaging rumors about MJ in the media. He was probably selling stories about MJ to the tabloids behind his back.

I hate how people think sooo negative these days. Why couldn't she just keep her BIG mouth shut. First she knows nothing about
Michael,if she thinks hes 6 feet tall and 87 pounds. And no he did not want to be white, he had a BLACK family that he loved very much, so if you don't know the person don't talk about them, and say stuff thats not true!
