Have a DS drink, will you?

This is not yet another installment in the neverending Final Fantasy series, but rather a new and original title that introduces you to the world of fine wine tasting. Keep in mind that we're dealing with a DS game that comes with a bottle of wine, courtesy of Square-Enix's partner, Mercian. This original piece of software is useful for all wine connoisseurs who want to enjoy a virtual tasting experience.

The bundle (wine bottle plus game) is available for about $43 dollars, which is pretty OK considering the quality of the wine. Square-Enix released the title under the name "How to begin with Wine DS" and I'm wondering if it's available for kids or not. In case it is, we should see a couple of angry parents blaming both Square and Nintendo for their initiative. This wouldn't be the first time that Nintendo receives criticism from parents (if it's the case with this DS title), as their Resident Evil 4 game, Wii version supported a brand new gun controller who supposedly encouraged kids to go on a shooting spree.

I suspect that there must be some sort of Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts character featured in the game, since Square-Enix has the habit of using their trademark Sephiroth clones, moogles and chocobos in most of their famous titles. While many of you will probably play games and games alone, on their portable console, now we have the chance to take a sip of good wine. However, one shouldn't be tempted to take that sip repeatedly, while playing the game on the street, since they'll only get a file. Will we ever see a PSP version of "How to begin with wine"? Still waiting for a food eating contest simulator, though, to surprise us yet again and speculate another vice?
