Square Enix Deliver Cast Presentation from Final Fantasy XIII-2

Video game publisher Square Enix has launched a new trailer for the upcoming Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII-2 which is specifically designed to show off the entire cast of characters that will play a major role in the game.

Those who have played the previous entry in the long-running series will meet a few familiar faces, some welcomed, other not, while a number of new characters are also quickly shown off.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will tell the story of Serah, the younger sister of Lightning, who must team up with Caius, a new character, in order to explore the game world and find out what happened to the heroine of the first game.

The developers are promising a more open world structure for the game and a streamlined battle system.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is already launched in Japan and gamers in the West will be able to play it on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in the early months of 2012.
