Japanese developer and publisher Square Enix has just celebrated 10 years since the company was formed, after Square and Enix merged together, and it's set up a special website that celebrates this achievement.

Square and Enix were some of the most experienced Japanese companies in terms of games and entertainment and, on April 1, 2003 they merged to create Square Enix, a new company that not only develops, but also publishes games on a global scale.

Since then, the company has been going pretty well, managing to acquire European publisher Eidos and starting to branch out by publishing new titles like Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, or Sleeping Dogs.

Sadly, these titles didn't sell that well so the company's CEO, Yoichi Wada, announced his resignation last week.

Now, Square Enix has set up a special website to mark its 10-year anniversary, which includes a message for fans.

In it, the company thanks them for their support and promises that new collaborations and other things are going to be announced soon.
