There have been various rumors in circulation regarding what the Japanese software giant Square Enix might be up to, and the time has come to dismiss some of the ideas floating around the Internet.

The latest issue of Japanese video game magazine Famitsu features a special article dedicated to just that and aptly titled "The Truth of Rumors 2014," where the top honchos over at Square Enix talk about the latest rumors, from a potential Final Fantasy X-3 to a Dissidia Final Fantasy sequel.

The report stated that Square Enix reiterated the same response the company had had for western media when the rumors about Final Fantasy X-3 being in the making had started, saying that Final Fantasy X and X-2 producer Yoshinori Kitase was not involved in creating Final Fantasy X-3 at the time.

Square Enix then proceeded to discuss the subject of a prospective sequel for Dissidia Final Fantasy, and series director Mitsunori Takahasi said that he definitely wanted to make one.

It was then time for Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto to step in and discuss the development of the upcoming role-playing game Final Fantasy XV, stating that the process was going smoothly, and adding that the new scenes for Kingom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix were pretty much done, and that the game was nearing its final stage of development.

He also mentioned that an official reveal regarding Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 remix would be made very soon. It sounds like awesome news.
