A new leaked image of Sony Ericsson W960i has just appeared to taunt even more those who are expecting it to be released on the market. Sony Ericsson has officially announced this handset about two months ago, with the promise of bringing it out in stores during the fourth quarter of this year.

Until the mobile phone gets out on the market, some leaked images make a pleasant change from the perfect looking official ones. It's a great thing that handset users have these too, as it boosts impressive features, some of the most evolved out there.

Sony Ericsson W960i has a total of 8GB of on-board memory, which makes it capable of competing with the iPhone and Nokia's N81 and black N95 handsets. It's the largest capacity registered up to this point, although Sony Ericsson might want to hurry with this phone's release, as rumors taunt a possible 16GB iPhone version for the European release, this fall.

The handset comes in fairly small sizes, if considering its capabilities, at 109 x 55 x 16 mm and 119 grams in weight. This makes it clear that it's not one of the smallest mobile phones out there, but a fairly compact one, when considering its performances.

The 3.2 megapixel camera on this cellular makes it capable of taking captures of a fairly good quality, making it capable of competing with some of the mobile phones from the Cyber-shot line of devices. There is also a secondary VGA camera, for placing video calls, as this is a 3G enabled phone. Still, we are talking about a Walkman handset that comes equipped with a Walkman Touch player and also brings FM radio as to respond to entertain the user.

The exact date when this device will hit stores has not been revealed yet, although a leaked image, from time to time, is useful to keep the suspense going until a release breaks it.
