As well as Motorola handsets with Windows Mobile 7

A series of recently leaked documents around the world have unveiled a little more on the 2010 plans of wireless carrier Sprint. It seems that there are a great deal of new mobile phones that will come to Sprint customers during the ongoing year, among which some that have been already rumored are included, such as an iDEN phone running under Android, or a WiMAX device.

Since Sprint plans on playing big when it comes to WiMAX, and most of you should already know that the carrier added a great deal of devices that sport the technology to its offering, it was only natural that WiMAX-based mobile phones would also start emerging. According to the leaked roadmap, the handset will arrive from HTC, a candybar device that supposedly sports the A9292 moniker.

In addition to that, we should also expect for Sprint to bring to the table a handset that runs under Google's Android operating system and boasts iDEN connectivity options. The phone can be seen in the leaked roadmap as the Motorola i1, but it might very well be the already leaked Opus One. According to the leaked documents, the phone will come with a full touchscreen display, will include a 5-megapixel photo snapper and will run under Android 1.6.

Other devices that can be seen on the list are: LG LN510: Touchscreen with QWERTY keyboard, in blue, purple and red; LG LN240: messaging phone with no EVDO support; LG LS680: Android device similar to GW620; Samsung M350: basic touchscreen phone; Samsung M570; Samsung M910; Palm C40: no details, but it is already in Sprint’s inventory system; Sanyo 8600; Samsung Instinct S30 Pink, Reclaim Grey and M330 Blue; Motorola i680: rugged military-grade with 2 MP camera; Motorola i890.

But this is not all. Sprint also seems set to launch new mobile phones from the Canadian handset vendor Research In Motion, and the list shows a Blackberry Tour 2 (9650), which has been already rumored to exist, packing Wi-Fi connectivity and OS 5.0 on board. At the same time, a Pearl Flip with enhanced capabilities should also be there.

Other devices from Motorola will also be there, including some that might run under Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system, such as the MS400 device. Considering the fact that Motorola already said that it would release such phones only when Windows Mobile 7 arrived on the market, the phone is expected to run under that iteration of the OS, and should be launched before the end of the ongoing year.
