A new Samsung handsets is en-route to Sprint, SPH-L300, and FCC has already approved it for use in the United States.

The handset
, which made an appearance online a few months ago in a User Agent Profile, will run under Google’s Android operating system, while featuring a WVGA touchscreen display.

According to the leaked specs for the smartphone, it should land on shelves with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 application processor inside, complemented by 1GB of RAM.

Moreover, the new mobile phone is expected to include 4GB of internal memory, most probably complemented by a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

Overall, the new device should arrive as a budget-friendly smartphone, yet no official confirmation on the matter has emerged for the time being. No info on its price tag or launch window has been provided either.
