The holiday season seems to be a great moment to purchase a new smartphone in the United States, especially for Sprint’s customers.

LG Optimus G, South Korean mobile phone maker’s latest flagship Android device, is now available for only $49.99 if purchased through Amazon Wireless.

The device comes with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor inside, a 4.7-inch true HD IPS WXGA touchscreen display and a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which makes the new price tag seem like a great deal.

The phone sports many of the features that Nexus 4 was launched with, and is available for purchase with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, NFC capabilities, and support for Sprint’s 4G LTE network.

Running under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, the phone can be seen on this page at Amazon Wireless.
