LG G3, the upcoming flagship Android-based handset from South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is expected to arrive on shelves at wireless carrier Sprint with a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a newly spotted User Agent Profile unveils.

The UAProf appears to have been updated, thus capable of offering more accurate info on the hardware specs that the new device will arrive on shelves with.

Previously, the Sprint LG G3 (LG-LS990) was said to hit shelves with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, but the updated info on it unveils that it will sport, in fact, a 16-megapixel camera.

Moreover, as a recent post on mylgphones points out, the handset is listed with software version LS990ZV1 now, as well as with 2GB of RAM packed inside.

However, the fact that it might sport only 2GB of RAM when launched comes as a surprise, since other vendors out there have already incorporated 3GB of RAM in some of their newest high-end smartphones.

Sprint’s LG G3 is also listed there with a 2.4MP camera on the front, as well as with a WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) touchscreen display, in line with what previous reports on the device suggested.

Moreover, it is set to hit shelves with 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

The aforementioned UAProf also mentions a Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor, though there’s little chance that LG will release the device with this CPU inside.

Most probably, LG is working on this chipset for the building of various software features for the new handset but will release the device with a newer processor inside, most probably a Snapdragon 801 or a Snapdragon 805 one.

The specifications list of the upcoming handset should also reveal the usual set of connectivity capabilities, including support for 4G LTE networks and Wi-Fi capabilities, DLNA certification, GPS receiver, and the like.

The handset will also be capable of recording videos in full HD resolution (4K capabilities might also be added to it at launch), and should run under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS version (or a newer flavor of the Android operating system).

Some of the latest reports on the LG G3 suggested that LG might announce it sometime in June, while being determined to put it up for sale in July, most probably alongside a smaller version, called LG G3 mini. Should this pan out, we might learn more on the handset soon, so keep an eye on this space for updates on the matter.
