HTC Arrive, the first Windows Phone device available for purchase on the airwaves of wireless carrier Sprint, can be purchased now almost for free through Amazon Wireless.

The retailer has the Windows Phone smartphone available for only $0.01 upon the signing of a contract agreement on select price plans.

The HTC Arrive comes with a 3.6-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a side sliding QWERTY keyboard, with a tilting form factor.

In addition to having the smartphone available for only $0.01, Amazon also offers 300 anytime minutes to all users who select the Everything Data 450 plan from Sprint.

“Now through 7/23/2011, buy a Sprint phone with the Everything Data 450 plan and receive cbonus anytime minutes each month for the lifetime of your service or until you change plans,” the retailer notes on its website.

Complemented by the great experience that Arrive can deliver, the deal seems pretty appealing, that's for sure, especially since its Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon processor can provide great performance levels.

The specifications list of this device includes 16 GB of internal memory, support for 3G connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, GPS receiver, and more.

“The first device from Sprint based on Windows Phone 7, the HTC Arrive offers an innovative design with a sliding full QWERTY keyboard and tilt-up display,” Amazon notes.

“With the unique glance-and-go experience of the Windows Phone 7 operating system, the Arrive allows you to get to what's important to you, easier and faster in less steps. And it gives you the productivity of Office Mobile and Bing, plus the fun of Xbox LIVE and Zune.”

The HTC Arrive measures 4.3 x 2.3 x 0.7 inches and weighs in at 5.8 ounces. Those who would make the purchase should receive in the box: handset, rechargeable battery, charger, USB cable, quick start guide.
