Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is a highly appealing device, yet the latest deal that Amazon has on Sprint’s version of the phone appears meant to make it even more attractive.

The retailer has cut the price tag of this flagship smartphone to only $49.99 (€37) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Those who would like to take advantage of the offer will be able to choose between three different color flavors of the mobile phone, namely Black, Purple and White.

Galaxy S4 was made official in March this year with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display and with a 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor packed inside.

The smartphone also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

Furthermore, it sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, as well as a front camera for making video calls.

“Equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, the Galaxy S4 also boasts a Dual Camera function that allows simultaneous use of both front and rear cameras,” Amazon explains.

“When capturing moments, you can choose from a variety of frame effects that blend the two pictures naturally and also adjust the size of the small picture inside the big one. You can also select from eight different ways to combine the two photos taken by the front camera and the rear camera.”

The specifications list of Galaxy S4 also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, NFC capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver. At the same time, it sports all the usual sensors.

Galaxy S4 was launched with a 2600 mAh battery packed inside, and is currently running under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system (however, it is expected to receive an update to Android 4.3 as soon as the next month).
