Samsung Galaxy S III will make its way to Sprint’s offering on Thursday, June 21st, the wireless carrier has confirmed officially today.

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based flagship device will make it to Sprint’s network with pre-loaded Google Wallet, being the only US flavor of the phone to feature the service/application.

Thus, people will be able to use their smartphones as their personal wallets, while taking advantage of its Near Field Communication (NFC) to make payments at participating retailers.

Two different versions of Galaxy S III will be released on Sprint’s network on the aforementioned date, one featuring 16GB of internal memory and priced at $199.99/€160, while the other sporting 32GB of memory and going for $249.99/€200.

The mobile phone will arrive in all Sprint Stores, as well as through Sprint Business Sales, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and Web Sales. The 32GB flavor will be available only online, the carrier announced.

The smartphone will go on pre-order tomorrow, June 5th, in two color versions, namely Pebble Blue and Marble White. To take advantage of said price offerings, users will have to commit to a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

Sprint promises unlimited data for users who choose to sign up for one of its Everything Data plans, such as the $79.99 per month Everything Data plan with Any Mobile, Anytime, which offers unlimited web, texting and calling to and from any mobile in America.

Along with the aforementioned Google Wallet, the phone’s main features include a large 4.8-inch screen, along with a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM, and a high-quality 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities. It also features a front camera.

“Sprint and Samsung take another leap forward together in bringing our customers the best in mobile technology with Galaxy S III on the Sprint 4G LTE network,” said Fared Adib, vice president – Product Development, Sprint.

“Sprint is the only U.S. carrier to offer this device with the simplicity of unlimited data plans. Our customers will appreciate being able to use the robust features and capabilities of this device without worrying about data caps, throttling or silly overage charges.”
