Wireless carrier Sprint is expected to start delivering the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update to its Samsung Epic 4G Touch users as soon as this week.

A leaked document that emerged over at Android Central shows that the Sprint Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch should get a taste of the new OS flavor as soon as July 12th.

However, the update will be performed in stages, which means that not all users will receive it at the same time. The roll-out should be completed by July 20th, nevertheless.

The update will bring along not only the ICS OS flavor, but also a series of other changes throughout menus and functionality.

The UI will suffer few modifications, Android Central notes, explaining that the TouchWiz interface from Samsung will still be loaded on the platform.
