Although ZTE Optik is not among the popular Android devices offered by Sprint, the carrier has just announced the tablet’s first software update is now available for download.

Even though it’s nothing really important, the update brings some new apps and fixes several bugs that have been previously reported.

According to the official change log, software update B09 for ZTE Optik brings the following changes:

- Google DRM solution; - Google Music; - Google+; - Persistent notification after BT transfer; - Software version corrected in x-wap profile; - Sim City closes when attempting to purchase while connected to Wi-Fi; - Sim City download issue fixed; - Response when connected to a computer via USB cable.

The update is pushed OTA (over the air), so a connection to a stable Wi-Fi network is required in order to download the file.
