The not so old HTC EVO 4G LTE is about to receive a minor software update, Sprint has just confirmed. According to the carrier, software version 3.17.651.4 will be rolled out OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all EVO 4G LTE devices may get it at once.

Sprint is the first US-based carrier to offer the highly anticipated Android 4.3 update for HTC One. Although the two updates aren’t related in any way, it is nice to know that at least one network operator takes care of its customers.

The official changelog of the upcoming update for HTC EVO 4G LTE mentions the following enhancements and fixes:

- HTC Sense stability improvements; - HD Voice default enablement.

Expect a notification to pop up on your HTC EVO 4G LTE any moment now or manually check for the update’s availability later today.
