US-based carrier Sprint has just confirmed the availability of a small update for LG Viper 4G. One of the cheapest LTE-enabled smartphones available in the United States, the Viper 4G has received a few improvements and nothing else.

Recently spotted by the folks over at AndroidPolice, the maintenance update does one thing: it improves LTE reception of the phone.

According to Sprint, software update LS840ZVK contains “LTE network acquisition improvements.”

Keep in mind that the minor update is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, which means that not all users will receive it at the same time.

However, LG Viper 4G owners who have yet to be notified on the update can manually check for it by going to Settings / About phone / System update. More details are available here.
