It looks like customers who purchased Sprint's Galaxy Nexus made a bad investment. Apparently, some users who bought the phone are affected by an annoying issue that does not allows them to connect to Sprint's 3G network.

Since the issue has been discovered affected users have been given replacements at local Sprint store, but as of lately the carrier advises its customers to wait a few more days as a fix for the problem is already in the works.

This has been recently confirmed by a Sprint forum moderator: “Sprint/Samsung are aware of this problem and will be releasing a software update to resolve the issue. Can't commit to a date yet, but they are trying really hard to get it released early next week. Sorry for your troubles.”

We're not sure when exactly Sprint and Samsung will be able to push the promised fix, so stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
