Wireless carrier Sprint is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new set of software updates for some of its users, and it seems that the owners of a HTC EVO 3D or a Samsung Conquer 4G are targeted this time.

Reportedly, the company plans on pushing out new software updates for these devices in a matter of days, with Conquer 4G set to receive it on Sunday, the same day it is put for sale, while the EVO 3D expected to taste it on August 23rd.

For the time being, nothing was officially confirmed on the matter, but a leaked document that emerged over at sprintfeed shows that things are about to be set in motion.

The Samsung Conquer 4G is expected to be launched on Sunday at the wireless carrier, and it seems that it will be updated the very same day.

On this mobile phone, the software update will bring forth a series of security enhancements, and will be pushed as soon as the device is activated, the aforementioned leaked document shows.

A longer list of enhancements will be brought to EVO 3D via the software update that Sprint seems to have in store for it on August 23rd.

In addition to a series of fixes aimed at the lockscreen, or at the syncing of one-day-off birthdays with Facebook, users will also benefit from a series of improvements aimed at the phone's GPS receiver.

Moreover, the software update, which should arrive on devices as version 2.08.651.2, is expected to bring on EVO 3D the ability to transfer contacts over Bluetooth, and to fix a series of Spiderman stability issues.

Apparently, the software update will also offer users more freedom when it comes to the applications that they would like to have installed on their devices.

Apparently, EVo 3D owners will need to perform the update manually, which means that they will need to check on their handsets to see whether the software was made available for them or not.

As stated above, nothing was confirmed on this for the time being, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter as details become available.
