Mobile phone carrier Sprint is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new series of 4G LTE smartphones for its prepaid users in 2013.

Starting with the first quarter of the next year, users on Sprint’s network will be able to purchase new prepaid smartphones such as HTC Kingdom II and ZTE Aurora, Twitter user @evleaks suggests.

However, while these two devices will land at Boost Mobile, it seems that those who would rather go with the carrier’s Virgin Mobile prepaid brand will be able to purchase only the Samsung Galaxy Victory, also expected to hit shelves in the first quarter of the next year.

With no official confirmation on the matter available for the time being, we’ll take this with a grain of salt, but we’ll also wait for an official announcement to be made.
