14 DAY TRIAL // Today, wireless carrier Sprint has officially confirmed plans to make the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone available for purchase on its network starting with October 4.
The mobile phone will be put up for grabs at the wireless carrier via all sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Business Sales, Web Sales, and Telesales.
Furthermore, it will be accompanied by Galaxy Gear, the smartwatch that went official along with the smartphone at the IFA 2013 conference in Berlin.
Sprint will make the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone available for purchase on its network in Classic White and Jet Black, with a price tag of $349.99 (€259) with the signing of a two-year contract with the carrier.
The Galaxy Gear, on the other hand, will be priced at $299.99 (€221) and will be available in Jet Black, Oatmeal Beige, and Wild Orange.
“Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Galaxy Gear provides our customers with a wireless experience like no other,” David Owens, vice president, Product Development, Sprint, said.
“Sprint and Samsung have been partners in innovation for many years, and this combination of the right device on the right rate plans is exciting for our customers.”
Galaxy Note 3 arrives at Sprint with a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside.
The mobile phone also features 3GB of RAM, along with 32GB of internal memory. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, as well as a front camera for making video calls.
Samsung packed Galaxy Note 3 with a wide range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 4G LTE, GPS receiver, and the like. The smartphone is powered by Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
As for Galaxy Gear, it comes with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display, while also featuring a 1.9-megapixel camera. The device can be easily connected to the Galaxy Note 3 for displaying notifications, hands-free calling, media/music control, and more.
