The service will be available to Sprint PCS Vision and Power Vision subscribers

Sprint announced the availability of Major League Baseball's Gameday Audio on Sprint wireless phones. Baseball fans can catch the live radio broadcast of every major league game for just $5.99 per month.

"Consumers have come to rely on Sprint as the wireless carrier with the power to offer the most comprehensive mobile sports and entertainment packages. And now, baseball is no exception. Fans can enjoy every major league baseball game, virtually anytime, anywhere," said Alana Muller, director of product marketing for Sprint. "As pennant races heat up in August and September, Gameday Audio is just one more reason our customers won't leave their houses without their Sprint mobile phones."

Gameday Audio will be available for purchase via the mlb.com WAP site, accessible from Sprint's Vision home deck while on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network or the Power Vision Network. This unique offering allows the user to launch the multimedia content live via the MLB.com WAP site which contains the same features fans expect from MLB.com. For $5.99 per month, Sprint PCS Vision and Power Vision subscribers will have access to the live radio broadcast of every major league baseball game. Fans can choose either the home or away teams' flagship station coverage or, where available, games broadcast in Spanish.

The service is available on sixteen different multimedia handsets in Sprint's line-up.
