Major carrier Sprint has recently announced that it will add the first smartphones featuring Sprint Spark (enhanced LTE) to its portfolio, beginning November 8. Customers will be able to grab the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy Mega, HTC One max or LG G2 starting next week.

According to Sprint, the cheapest of the four will be the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, as Android fans will be able to purchase it for only $99.99 (€75) after a $50 mail-in rebate, with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement or $16.67 (€12.31) per month with Sprint One Up (excluding taxes).

Next in line is the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which has been confirmed to sell for $199.99 (€145) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement or $19.59 (€14.47) per month with Sprint One Up (excluding taxes).

LG G2 is expected to hit shelves at Sprint on November 8 for $199.99 (€145) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement or $22.92 (€16.93) per month with Sprint One Up (excluding taxes).

Last but not least, HTC One max will cost $249.99 (€185) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement or $25.00 (€18.47) per month with Sprint One Up (excluding taxes).

The carrier stated that all “tri-band devices support active hand-off mode between 800MHz, 1.9GHz and 2.5GHz providing data session continuity as the devices move between spectrum bands.”

Thanks to the Sprint Spark technology, users will be provided with great improvements to the performance of video and other bandwidth-intensive apps.

Apparently, “Sprint Spark is designed to support a new generation of online gaming, virtual reality, advanced cloud services and other applications requiring very high bandwidth,” said Sprint in a statement.

Last but not least, Sprint announced plans to roll out Sprint Spark technology in about 100 of USA’s largest cities over the next three years, with initial availability in five markets today. Those interested to acquire any of these devices should know that Sprint Spar is only available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa and Miami for the moment.
