I am considering this phone. I'm currently on an older BB device. I am a sportsman and spend considerable time in the outdoors near water. I'd like to give this one a go. That's if the batt issue and pink screen issue is solved. Several people I know that have the original model have limited batt life and significant screen issues. I want to like this phone. I was using nextel even before it was cool and now that it it's not again, I still love the PTT and security that the old and outdated IDEN network offer.
