Major carrier Sprint announced about a month ago that the LG Optimus G would go on sale on its airwaves on November 11.

Last week, the carrier also confirmed the smartphone will receive a software update as soon as it hits shelves.

Customers who want to purchase LG’s Android flagship smartphone can do so for only $200/€155 with a new two-year agreement. In addition, the device is also available for $550/€430 outright. Check it out here.

Although LG Optimus G is delivered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform at launch, the South Korean handset maker confirmed that the handset would eventually receive a Jelly Bean upgrade, so stay tuned for more updates on this one.

Hardware-wise, the Optimus G is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
