The update is delivered in stages, so it may take a few days to reach all devices

Sprint customers who own the HTC One may want to check their devices for a new software update that has just been rolled out OTA (over the air).

Unfortunately, not many details are available about software update 4.06.651.9 for HTC One, just that it brings some under the hood improvements meant to improve the stability of the device.

The only thing mentioned by the official chaneglog posted on the Sprint support page is that it brings “system stability improvements.” This is the first update received by Sprint HTC One since the smartphone was upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

If you notice any changes other than those mentioned in the official changelog, please don’t hesitate to leave your impressions in the comments.

On a side note, Sprint is expected to replace the HTC One with the next flagship smartphone to be unveiled by the Taiwanese handset maker next week.

However, for the moment, there’s no telling when it will be available for purchase in the United States, though there’s a high chance that it will arrive at Sprint sometime in April. The so-called All New HTC One has recently been confirmed to go on sale in the UK the same day it gets unveiled, on March 25.
