The minor update is now pushed OTA (over the air), in stages

Sprint launched the Galaxy Note II several days ago, and today the carrier rolls out the first software update for Samsung’s Android flagship smartphone.

Software version is L900VPALJC is now pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, which means not all Samsung Galaxy Note II owners will receive it at the same time.

The update brings a new feature, along with some enhancements and fixes. The most interesting is the multi window view feature, which allows users to run two applications on the screen simultaneously.

In addition, the following changes will be implemented as well:

- GPS lock settings can be defaulted by corporate device administrators; - Emails go to Outbox when in no coverage area or airplane mode; - Text message notification will beep while in a voice call.
