Those of you interested in the purchase of a new mobile phone on the airwaves Sprint should consider having a look at the latest offering the wireless carrier put in place for three of its highly appealing Android-based mobile phones.

The Samsung Epic 4G, Google Nexus S 4G and Kyocera Echo are now cheaper when purchased on contract from the wireless carrier.

For a period of around three weeks, users will be able to purchase the Samsung Epic 4G, for example, for only $99 with the signing of a contract agreement.

The handset has seen a $50 discount from the previous $149 price tag it featured, the same as did Nexus S 4G, which is available for only $49 at the moment.

Kyocera Echo has seen a major discount, being available for free at the moment, down from the $99 contract price tag it featured before.

We haven't seen an official announcement on this until now, but the guys over at Briefmobile have a document available to prove that things are indeed this way.

All these three devices were already quite appealing, and their availability at much lower costs will certainly attract more users than before.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Samsung Epic 4G was launched last year as a WiMAX-capable smartphone that runs under Google's Android operating system.

The phone comes with a sliding design, complementing the touchscreen display usually found in an Android phone with a full QWERTY keyboard for better input capabilities.

Nexus S 4G is Sprint's own flavor of Google's second phone, which was manufactured by Samsung, and which landed on shelves around the world without the 4G capabilities that it features at the US carrier.

As for the Kyocera Echo, it was launched as a dual-touchscreen Android-based device, packing a fast application processor and capable of offering a great viewing experience while on the go.
