Major carrier Sprint has finally made official the white version of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. The smartphone will be available for purchase beginning July 15 for as low as $199.99 USD with a new line of service or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement.

The white smartphone is framed by an aluminum unibody and sports a matching silver kickstand and aluminized back plate, which gives it a sleek and stylish look.

Launched back in May, HTC EVO 4G LTE is currently available in an anodized black finish in all Sprint official retail channels.

The smartphone comes with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, integrated with HTC Sense 4.0 user interface, and it packs a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

The impressive 8-megapixel camera on the back features autofocus, LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as HTC ImageSense technology, which allows users to capture still images while taking video, among other things.

HTC’s amazing camera and authentic sound experience bring the HTC EVO 4G LTE to life as a true successor to the original HTC EVO, one of the most successful Android franchises in the United States,” said Martin Fichter, vice president of Product Management, HTC America.

According to Sprint, the HTC EVO 4G LTE is the first HD voice-capable handset announced by a US-based carrier, so customers should expect quality crystal clear mobile voice.

HTC EVO 4G LTE sets a new standard for smartphones and boasts Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense 4, a blazing-fast processor, 4.7-inch HD display for a rich multimedia experience and the ability to have HD Voice capabilities in the future. Pairing the HTC EVO innovation with Sprint’s Everything Data Plans for a truly unlimited data experience gives customers a powerful combination,” said Fared Adib, vice president of Product Development, Sprint.
