Wireless carrier Sprint will be releasing the new iPhone 4S smartphone on its airwaves as soon as next week, and it seems the company will have some treats available for those users who will choose to purchase the new device from it.

The same as with other high-end smartphones that the wireless carrier offers to its customers, the iPhone 4S will be offered with unlimited monthly plans, the company announced.

The carrier was already known to plan on making the move, and they have just confirmed that iPhone customers will be treated just the same as all other customers.

With this offering in place, Sprint will be the only carrier in the United States to make no differentiation between this usual smartphone users and those who will purchase the iPhone.

“We will be offering the benefit of our unlimited plans that start at just $69.99,” said spokeswoman Michelle Leff Mermelstein, according to AllThingsDigital.

One thing that should be noted here is the fact that users will need to add a $10 per month surcharge for smartphones, which will bring the monthly cost to up to $79.99 (about 61 Euros).

The $69.99 (around 53 Euros) monthly plan includes unlimited data and mobile-to-mobile calling, as well as 450 voice minutes.

Users who would like to get the iPhone 4S from Sprint on an unlimited data and voice plan will have to go for the $99 per month plan (approximately 75 Euros).

When learning that Sprint will be offering unlimited data to its users, some raised concerns that the carrier's network might not be able to support the string.

The carrier, however, is confident that they will continue to offer the same service quality as before, even if iPhone users will consume more data.

“We have every confidence in the ability of our 3G network to handle the influx of devices we expect to get. It certainly hasn’t been an issue to date,” Mermelstein explained.
