Samsung’s tablet will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard

Sprint and Samsung have just announced the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet will go on sale at the US-based carrier beginning October 11.

Customers who wish to purchase the 7-inch tablet will be pleased to learn it will be launched for a special introductory price of $49.99 (€35) on a two-year contract. The slate will be available in white at launch, while a midnight black color version will be released in time for the holidays.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 will be delivered with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. It will be equipped with a 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.

Other highlights of the tablet include microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB), 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and 4,000 mAh Li-Ion battery.
