Today, wireless services provider Sprint officially announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone on its network starting with April 27.

The new device will be available at the wireless carrier with a price tag of $249.99 (190 Euro) attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The handset will be sold with 16GB of internal memory, and will be up for grabs for those who bring their phone number from another wireless carrier at only $149.99 excluding taxes (114 Euro), Sprint announced.

Furthermore, the operator confirmed that the new mobile phone would be available for online reservations starting with tomorrow, April 18, via its online store.

When launched, the Galaxy S4 will hit all Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, and the carrier’s online storefront, while also being made available through telesales, in both Black Mist and White Frost color flavors.

The handset will arrive at Sprint with a 5-inch full HD screen, a quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

Furthermore, the handset will include a front camera for making video calls, LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, GPS receiver, NFC, and various features developed by Samsung themselves, including Smart Pause, Dual Camera, and more.

At the same time, the handset will be launched with the Polaris Office application pre-loaded right from the start, enabling users to view and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files while on the road.

Galaxy S4 is packed with incredible new features that will benefit from unlimited data plans on the Sprint 4G LTE network,” said Fared Adib, senior vice president – Product Development, Sprint.

“Sprint encourages our customers to really use their smartphone to its full potential – from surfing the Web to listening to streaming music or watching YouTube videos - without worry about data caps, throttling or silly overage charges on their monthly bill. I know our customers will enjoy this device as much as I do.”
