Sprint has just introduced in their line of available phone models one stunning concept coming from Motorola. Motorola Deluxe ic902 manages to combine the basic functions of a walkie-talkie with those of a regular mobile phone and even more.

Motorola Deluxe ic902 uses the Nextel National Network (iDEN) for walkie-talkie services and the CDMA network for voice and data services. With a sports design, this handset looks as if it was rather built for the outdoors and less for use within city boundaries.

"Customers have the power to make the most of their wireless service whether through voice calls, instant Nextel Walkie-Talkie services or one of our Sprint Power Vision applications, including Sprint Music Store", said Danny Bowman, vice president of customer equipment for Sprint.

This new mobile phone might look like a walkie-talkie, it might even have the most evolved walkie-talkie features included, but it can also be successfully used as a regular handset, due to the CDMA connectivity.

Moreover, Motorola Deluxe ic902 brings the most evolved performances coming from mobile phones. This device is capable of providing increased data speeds through EV-DO technology. It is also capable of Bluetooth Stereo connectivity, which provides fast data transfer solutions. Additionally, it helps its user to continuously stay updated on the latest information, through OnDemand services. This provides up-to-date web content such as Sports, Weather, News, Money and Movie Information, all with fast and easy access.

The 2 megapixel built-in camera that Motorola Deluxe ic902 comes equipped with will manage to provide images at a reasonable quality, just as most average mobile phones could. Moreover, it also comes with MP3 player functions and a microSD card slot in order to make sure that enough data storage space is provided for the user.

Motorola Deluxe ic902 will be available for purchase at Sprint for the price of USD 490 or for USD 300 with a two-year service agreement and USD 40 mail-in-rebate.
