This is mostly a maintenance release with just a few new features

Gnumeric, a spreadsheet application that is part of the Gnome desktop environment and that can read files saved with other spreadsheet tools, is now at version 1.12.3.

This is the third version in the Gnumeric 1.12.x series has been dubbed “Ray's Release,” after Ray Dassen who recently passed away at the age of 40.

Highlights of Gnumeric 1.12.3:

• Gnumeric no longer crashes when it's handling corrupted files; • Linear regression now works the way it should, when the source columns are linearly dependent; • Buttons 1 and 2 now have a similar behavior when selecting cells; • A keyboard shortcut has been added in order to jump to the current cell indicator; • The placement of the hyperlink tooltip has been corrected.
