Some creatures are really scary, yet still meet their match

Most people agree that there are certain animal species that are best left alone and not toyed with, seeing how they can cause some very serious injuries to those who choose to disturb them.

However, there are daredevils which do not share these views, and more often than one would expect decide to go after some of the world's most feared creatures.

Here are the top 3:

3. Pink dolphins which kill and feed on piranhas

Hollywood already made sure of drilling into our heads the idea that piranhas are some of the most scary fish presently inhabiting the face of the earth, yet it seems that this particular species of mammals missed all of the movies revolving around this topic.

Pink freshwater dolphins live in the Amazon River and snack on piranhas quite often. Interestingly enough, there are some who have suggested that piranhas only move about in such large groups in order to keep safe from these dolphins.

2. Cats that feed on crocodiles

Caimans are the Amazon version of crocodiles, so one would expect that this species would have virtually no natural predators. Still, the jaguars these creatures share their natural habitat with are anything but aware of this presumed status quo.

Thus, they often attack and kill caimans. Truth be told, this big cat's bite is powerful enough to crack open turtle shells, so tackling a large reptile might seem to it like a rather easy thing to do.

1. Whales which drown great white sharks

Most people regard orcas as friendly marine mammals, and various amusement parks, together with movies such as “Free Willy,” played their part in fostering this opinion. However, there is a reason for which these animals are also referred to as “killer whales.”

Apparently, orcas are capable of killing great white sharks, and they are also quite gifted in this respect. Some say these marine mammals have figured out the fact that sharks need to move in order to breathe, and that whenever they wish to kill one they simply hold it in place until it drowns.

Photos of these daredevils are made available to you down below.
