Quite a while ago, Anatoly Konenko from Russia decided to go through the trouble of manufacturing the world's smallest aquarium.

Apparently, his fish tank can successfully hold 10 milliliters of water, measures 30 x 24 x 14 millimeters, and provides several really small fish with the environmental conditions they need in order to lead a comfortable life.

Thus, the aquarium is fully equipped with stones and miniature plants.

In case anyone was wondering, an air pump was also specially designed for this miniature marine ecosystem, so that one need not worry that the fish inhabiting it will ever run out of oxygen.

Truth be told, if one does not have all that much space available yet really wishes to keep a fish or two as pets, this idea can really come in handy.
