The “vehicle” can be driven both on the sidewalk, and on the road

One man named Chris Hoffman recently decided to look into the possibility of designing and manufacturing an electric unicycle after his daughter asked him if he could do it.

Although the vehicle is not yet up for sale, sources inform us that the Ryno, as this bike is called, can reach the speed of 20 mph (32.18 kilometers per hour) when allowed to roam the highways.

Still, should future owners wish to use it on the sidewalk, they will have to limit themselves to a speed of 12.5 mph (20.11 kilometers per hour) so as not to threaten the well-being of pedestrians.

One other important piece of information has to do with the fact that this electric unicycle can cover distances of up to 20 miles (32.18 kilometers), and recharging only takes about 1.5 hours.

Should the Ryno eventually start being produced on a large-scale, selling prices could revolve around $4,500 (€3,466).
