Spotify for Android has just been updated with new features and improvements aimed to make the application even more popular among Android users.

Last month, the developers added a new radio feature to the iOS version of Spotify, which allowed users to create their own custom stations based on certain aspects.

Today, the creators of the application announced the availability of the same feature to all those who owned Android devices.

The latest version of Spotify provides users with the option to start a radio station based on their favorite playlist, genre, album, artist or song. In addition, they can customize their radio stations by voting songs up or down.

Spotify 0.5.2.87 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
