14 DAY TRIAL // Music streaming service Spotify Ltd. has unveiled a new version of its mobile application for iOS customers, which introduces support for the Ford SYNC AppLink platform.
According to the release notes accompanying the new Spotify Mobile 0.6.2, “you can [now] listen in your car with the Ford SYNC AppLink platform.”
Users simply log into their Premium account on their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad and connect it to SYNC AppLink. From there, you just “enjoy voice-controlled access to all your favourite music, playlists and radio,” says the developer.
Also included in the 0.6.2 update is a bug fix to allow users to view their friends’ top tracks.
Spotify is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later.
