Will Wright is one of the biggest creative minds in the gaming industry, having brought to the market huge hits like The Sims and the more recent Spore. All of his titles have focused on the creativity of the player and he has exploited that, making the games as addictive as possible for every kind of gamer, be it hardcore or casual, male or female. He now recently spoke to Kotaku about one of the most promising titles this holiday season, LittleBigPlanet.

He said that it really attracted him because it took creativity to a whole new level, allowing players to create their own game levels and even share them with friends with the help of the PlayStation Network. He went on to say that he hadn't had a lot of time to really document himself on the very anticipated game but that it would make him buy a PlayStation 3 to play the title.

"I haven’t seen as much of LittleBigPlanet as I’d like to. What I’ve seen of it looks intriguing and very cool. I've seen a couple videos of it, though. Is it out now? I don’t have a PS3. LittleBigPlanet will probably tip the scales for me to buy one. I own pretty much every other system. There’s just been no titles for the PS3 I’ve really wanted to see."

Harsh words for other game developers that brought their games to Sony's console. Although most people have really appreciated several PS3 only titles, like Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune or Metal Gear Solid 4, it would seem that none of them really gained Wright's appreciation.

Still, some very kind words for Media Molecule, the developer of LBP, which are surely going to make the sales for the already popular title grow even more. It is understandable that Will Wright be interested in this title because he can employ some of the ideas in his other future projects which might take user creativity even further.
