It's all about excess these days and, thanks to Nintendo, we are now able to do all the crazy stuff we can think of by entering the virtual worlds of the Wii. This week, we are given the choice between a super exciting racing game that will keep our adrenaline levels to the maximum and a classic title which allows us to become a larger-than-life beast that loves
mayhem.

First of all, Spogs Racing is a Wiiware title developed by D2C Games that brings us zany tracks, cars and arcade racing. The title comes with a signature move, the Crash 'N Grab action, which allows players to battle one another by crashing into each other and taking tires, engines, exhausts and brakes on-the-fly - which means that, finally, the easiest way to upgrade your in-game car has just been created. Spogs Racing is available for download now and costs 1,000 Wii Points to get it.

"Because the Wii is rooted in easy, fun, and social games, we have chosen Nintendo's platform as a key component to our overall strategy," said D2C Games founder and CEO Scott Orr. "They have launched a first-rate download platform with WiiWare, and it is an ideal place for the kinds of games we're making at D2C. SPOGS Racing isn't just fun, unique and innovative - it's also accessible in terms of price, and for 1,000 Wii Points gamers of all ages will enjoy it immensely."

The second new title offered by Nintendo this week is a virtual console one, called King of the Monsters. The 1991-released classic fighting game features city-destroying battles between huge monsters. You get six of them to choose from and your only goal is to become the last man standing - in order to achieve this, you'll have to use devastating maneuvers like throwing flames or shooting laser beams. Some wrestling games are also incorporated, which means that, in the end, it's a win-win situation if you decide to purchase it for 900 Wii Points.
