Ubisoft has confirmed that the play style adopted by Splinter Cell: Blacklist owners throughout the single-player campaign will have an effect on the outcome of certain scripted events like cut scenes.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the next installment in Ubisoft's famous stealth franchise and promises to once again allow players access to different play styles.

The game will support complete stealth Ghost playthroughs, but also more aggressive Panther and Assault styles.

According to Ubisoft Toronto's Zach Cooper, who answered fan questions on PS blog, the scripted events, like cut scenes, won't change depending on the player's style, but their outcome could be affected by the choices of the player, such as killing all hostile enemies or suppressing some of them.

No other details were mentioned but more info is certain to be shared until August 20, when Splinter Cell: Blacklist is released around the world for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
