Video game developer and publisher Ubisoft is delivering a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, designed to show fans of the franchise how the cooperative side of the game will work and the moves that two players can collaborate on.

Partners can be able to play through four mission types and 14 maps that are designed specifically for coop, although it is not clear whether a story is attached to the adventures.

Gamers can connect over the net or they can simply share a couch.

Series protagonist Sam Fisher will collaborate with Isaac Briggs, an operative from the CIA.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be available in North America on August 20 on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC and gamers in Europe will be able to play it three days later.
