It looks like the namesake of its maker, an odd, vertical spire

I've seen plenty of weird things in my life, but few, at least on the technology market, come close to the level of bizarre that the Spire Archer I mouse is defined by.

The pictures say it better than I ever could really. The Archer I Mouse has an odd, arched, vertical design unusual button placement, a 5D optical sensor and a scroll wheel that should last for millions of spins.

A USB 3.0/2.0 cable of 1.5 meters / 5 feet connects it to PCs.

Spire says it designed the Archer I in this fashion because it wanted to make it “ergonomic” and easy on the wrist.

Normal mice cause RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome after extended use. One in six workers has a form of these conditions, so it's not an idle fear.

Basically, the newcomer allows your palm to rest on the mouse and minimizes wrist stress. All for $19.99 / € 16.95.
